This journey start here on earth but ends in heaven and all the travellers must have what is needed for the journey. No one will be permitted to get to heaven without permission, meaning that there is someone who gives the permission. Some people will get the permission but will destroy their permission themselves so be very attentive. This journey is for the believers. How are we going to know what this journey looks like? We learn from the journey of Israelites from Egypt to Canaan, the land of milk and honey. Exodus 5: 1, 3 “ And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.... 3  And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.” The verse talks about God giving instructions to Moses, t

Proverb 3: 1- 4 “ My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2  For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4  So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.” This verses talks about favour and understanding before God and people when hearing and understand the commandments of God. When you have favour you have a good mind and there are some things you cannot get or do without favour and a good mind. When you have a good mind you are permitted to receive some things and without a good mind you can never get those things, example money, a corrupt mind cannot hold money because you don’t get money by power but by a good mind. When we talk of Passover, it means coming out from somewhere to somewhere. When we desire to do that there are things we need to be alerted and take precautions. When Jesus wanted to give an alert He told them behold, meaning look careful. In this journey of salvation we look at the journey of Israelites coming out from Egypt going to Canaan. As Christians we also need to be alerted not only in our spirit but also in our sense. Our mind must take precautions. When God told Moses what to do for the Passover, He told them they have to slaughter a lamb because He wanted them to share the blood. This means coming out from bondage to freedom needs sacrifice and sharing blood. Why the blood? Because the transfer cause death, it means that the life of bondage and slavery is a kind of living and so your life is bound there and to come out from that point something needs to be paid because you are there as a consequence and you have a right to be there because of the way your life wa

Exodus 24:1-18 “Now He said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar.  2  And Moses alone shall come near the Lord, but they shall not come near; nor shall the people go up with him........” In these verses we see God giving another command to Moses to take with him few elders from the seventy children of Jacob (remember the 70 household which went to Egypt with Jacob). Here we see a representative from each of the seventy families of Israelites was called before God. If you want to conquer the enemy who brings trouble in the family you must understand the family chain and create unity in the family because God recognise family. God loves unity and if you want to have the victory easily recognise the importance of unity in the family. In unity no one will feel timid and be a reason to cause destruction in the family. Exodus 23:24-33 “Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. 25  And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee......” God knew that when the Israelites enter the promised land they will found habitants of that country so He commanded them to destroy all of them and they should not get any knowledge from them, that is they should not worship anything or learn how they worship but they should destroy everything. Ecclesiastes 7:12 “For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.” There are things that delay you to get where you are supposed to go. For you to be somebody tomorrow and have good old age you must have wisdom and money but wisdom precedes. What is wisdom? Wisdom is to do or say only what you are supposed to say or do. Your words may take you to do things you are not supposed to do and be carried away by evil things. Your youth hood will determine how your old age shall be and even how your descendants shall be.   Many young people lives artificial life by pretending and not living a real life by desiring to be like others without knowing how those people get there. Exodus 23:1-23 “ 4  “If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.  5  If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying under its burden, and you would refrain from helping it, you shall surely help him with it. 6  “You shall not pervert the judgment of your poor in his dispute.  7  Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I will not justify the wicked.  8  And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous.....” Emphasis on verse 4, 9- 11, 14- 17, 19- 23 In verse 4 we start learning that we should not rejoice when our enemy is in trouble instead we should save or help the enemy when in trouble and by doing so we reconcile and chase away enmity and the enemy will honour you and fear you. Again in verse 9 we see God commanding the Israelites not to oppress a stranger for they were once strangers. We see God is saying to them

In the journey there are instructions which we should learn on both holy and normal things for us to have a peaceful journey which pleases God and the community. Exodus 20:24-26 “ You need make for me only an altar of earth and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your offerings of well-being, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause my name to be remembered I will come to you and bless you.  25  But if you make for me an altar of stone, do not build it of hewn stones; for if you use a chisel upon it you profane it.  26  You shall not go up by steps to my altar, so that your nakedness may not be exposed on it.” Here we learn about the burnt offering and peace offering. Why the two offerings? Burnt offering is to honour God because He is the owner and peace offering is the one which brings you prosperity. The reason of our worship is to present ourselves before the creator through our life style; it is a way of living. The type of life you are living will show who you are worshiping. This is a time of discernment where you need to discern who you are, who is Jesus, who is the Holy Spirit and what are the gift of the Holly Spirit, What is the power of God and the presence of God. We need to discern so that we can get away from the world lifestyle. Until when you decide that, it is when you will become a partaker of the things of heaven. You cannot worship God and still be torched by devil; you cannot worship God and still be torched by the environment. A worshiper cannot be killed by any size of army unless the one you worship has delivered you to them for His own purpose.
