Luke 3: 21 “ Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened ” After baptism Jesus did not go home but He prayed. When you are baptized, don’t go and sleep, it is a time of prayer. After baptism pray and heaven will be opened. The heaven did not open because Jesus was the son of God but because He prayed. What is prayer? Prayer is a request/ strong argument and not murmuring or crying. When you take your request before God, you open up heaven for you. We see in Luke, heaven did not open up to everyone but only to Jesus because He was praying. God hears even the prayers of a little child. Heaven will be opened to you when God looks at your heart and see your desire for Him by how you have prepared to receive and not because you come to church. Baptism is a sign of repentance. There is a great meaning to live with your husband as a friend and not an enemy because even when you quarrel you can forgive each other. The assignment given to you by God as a wife is to help your husband. If you fail to help him know that you are going to give an answer before God. Jeremiah 31:22 “ How long will you waver, O faithless daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth: a woman encompasses [ a ]  a man.” Women, you must stand on your God-given position, don’t say your husband is too much because he troubles you, no! When God gave you that man He knew he is suitable for you and you can handle him for He cannot give you something you cannot handle. Woman, you should stay in your position so that you can take care of your husband regardless of what the husband is doing. Ask God to help you overcome that because you have the power which God gave you. The bible says “he who endures to the end will WIN” Don’t accept to end up along the way.

1 Corinthians 2:16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” When your mind is with Christ, Jesus is able to instruct you. This means whatever we think we think about Him and do according to His word. Do not look at your environment and give a response, speak what the word says to awaken your faith instead of killing it. Ask yourself do you answer according to your faith? All is possible for the one who believes. Learn not to give answers until when you know what the word says concerning that thing. What kind of people are the followers? Followers are those who go to God for their own needs to be fulfilled and not what God has for them. Example: You may find a person asking God to give her a husband who will make her happy, but the person God has for you is not for you to be happy but is for Him to be happy when He sees you with that person. When you go before God wanting your own will to be done, God will give you who you want for you to be happy but that person will not please God and so God will be angry with you. We are created in the image and likeness of God, therefore your wife or husband resembles God. If you want to see God look at your wife or your husband, and anything you do to him or her you are doing it to God. The day a young man says to a lady I love you, it means he is telling God that I love you, and when the lady accept she is also telling God that I love you too. When they are both in Marriage and Rejoicing it means they are enjoying God. The human being who was created by God and placed at the Garden of Eden lost the grace to see like God because of sin. After being deceived by the devil he disobeyed God’s instructions. Spiritual blindness occurs to a person after being separated from the Perfection of God. Human dignity went wrong because of the seduction and influence of Satan, which caused them to eat the forbidden fruit. The serpent's deception began to attack the woman in the Garden of Eden through Seeing and Hearing then memories and decisions were disrupted and they rebelled against God and the fall of Adam and Eve appeared. What is blessing? Blessing means the fear of God. When you tell people that you are blessed, it means you have the fear of God. How will we know that you have the fear of God? We will look at the way you live, how are your wife and children’s behaviour and your general environment, do they please God? The blessing has its move. Identification is the key to your success. You cannot get your inheritance if you don’t know what your inheritance is. Jesus taught about prodigal son and the elder brother and the two represent the characteristics of member in church. How do you present yourself before God, before people, before your family? Do they know you as a born again? Do they enjoy your salvation? The bible says Jesus grew in stature pleasing God and people. This is how you introduce yourself, by pleasing God and people. What do people talk about you? Jesus asked His disciples, what do people call me? No one said He is a murder or a hypocrite but they were all comparing Jesus with other servants of God, they knew that He was a servant of God. Then He asked the disciples again what do you call me and Peter said, Lord you are the son o the living God, and Jesus answered Peter that it was His heavenly Father who revealed it to him. To know the servant of God you need a revelation from God. If Jesus has never revealed who the servant of God is, you will take a servant of God just like any other person. Because of Peter’s answer, Jesus announced to Peter that He will build His church on him and no  no gates of hell shall not prev
