IDENTIFICATION

Identification is the key to your success. You cannot get your inheritance if you don’t know what your inheritance is. Jesus taught about prodigal son and the elder brother and the two represent the characteristics of member in church. The bible shows us about their characters and we identify them by their characters. We also identify ourselves before God by our characters.

1 Samuel 13, 14

In these chapter, starting from chapter 13 verse one we see the bible do not say neither the years of Saul nor the number of years he ruled. This means Saul was living a meaningless life that is why nothing was counted during his time as he was impacting nothing. Ask yourself is your life meaningful?

When Jews were waiting to get in to war with the philistine they went through difficult situation. Saul led people to give offering against God’s protocol.  Saul did that because he saws that Samuel was getting late and the enemies were approaching them. You should learn that God goes according to His time and not your time. Don’t do as Saul did, wanting to please people who wanted to hear from God before God’s time. Many people are in this situation, seeing God is late, seeing the prophet is late and because of this many people end up in bad places, go to the false prophets just to get things early.

Because of that mistake, Saul’s authority and what God was purposed for him was taken away. Many people says what God plans for you no one can take it away from you, but the bible says hold on to what you have that no man can take away your crown. This is because a man just like you may snatch away what God has planned for you. You may start with good anointing but instead of holding to what God has purposed for you, you start hearing what people says and get carried away and God will never give to you what He purposed to give you. If you desire something, just ask God to use you according to His will but do not do what God has not directed you to do.

Through your recklessness, another one will be given what God purposed for you, a person who pleases His heart. May God help you not to let anyone take what was purposed for you.

Don’t be fearful and don’t let worry take over you, because God will surely be on your side. Jonathan and the amour bearer caused an earth quake because they were courageous and decided to look at their God, instead of what they have and their weakness. God will remain to be a savior regardless of your weakness. God does not save by you understanding or your power, but because you have trusted and depended on Him.

In your journey of salvation be yourself because you don’t know if your fellow has lost hope or not. If Jonathan could have listened to his father they would have been beaten by the enemy. As an individual you can save your family and you clan.

When God began to confirm you, watch out and do not be proud, continue to be humble and look at who has brought you there. Go and be like Jonathan and it shall come to pass. As you think, that is how you will receive. Jonathan just needed God to win the battle and heaven rejoiced over him as he was manifesting his God. You don’t need money to be rich or capital to start a business, you don’t need men to be great, you don’t need to complete all universities to gain understanding, you just need God to get all of that. Receive my God and you will reach your destination. Those who have understood they have began the journey and they will reach their destination. You don’t need a group people to join hands with you but you just need God hand to be with you. You don’t need weapons to win a battle but a word to win every battle. Let this secret be yours forever.

Mathew 6: 33 “But strive first for the kingdom of God^[a] and his^[b] righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

As you identify your God, that is how He will identify you before men. How do you identify God? If you identify Him as your healer, He will heal you before people and make you a healer to many. As Jesus glorified God before men, God glorified Him before people. What position has you give God in your life? What you give him is what He will give you. It is easy to get into greatness in this, but it only depends on who has you made God to be in your life. If you make God to be your father, He will take care of you as a father. As you identify yourself, that is how God will identify you. As Jonathan identified himself he used his position well.

If you cannot identify yourself it is easier to murmur.  Read the book of Jude and you will understand. You have no reason to remain poor if you walk in the grace of God I am moving with. Grace will take you to a place of glory. For you to remain in grace, love the one who is before you because love of God goes before grace. Create love in you by thinking on God and love those He has placed before you and you will see the goodness of God.
