Luke 3: 21 “ Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened ” After baptism Jesus did not go home but He prayed. When you are baptized, don’t go and sleep, it is a time of prayer. After baptism pray and heaven will be opened. The heaven did not open because Jesus was the son of God but because He prayed. What is prayer? Prayer is a request/ strong argument and not murmuring or crying. When you take your request before God, you open up heaven for you. We see in Luke, heaven did not open up to everyone but only to Jesus because He was praying. God hears even the prayers of a little child. What kind of people are the followers? Followers are those who go to God for their own needs to be fulfilled and not what God has for them.
