THE GATES OF HELL- WEAPONS THAT THE DEVIL USES MOST TO DESTROY OR PUNISH THE HUMAN KIND

 

Matthew 16: 17- 18 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

He says “Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed unto thee but my Father which is in heaven..” Some things in life may be very important to you, whether you know them or not, but in order to have them, it is up to God to approve of you even if it is your right. He says "for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee...", in other language it means ​​the knowledge and life we have can reveal things to us and enable us to receive things that giveth us prosperity or have a certain life that is easier. But there are some things that no matter what you do, you will not be able to receive them or to do unless God approves them.

1 Corinthians 16: 9 “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.”

God opens the door for people who love Him. In this verse it means:

1. There are some things God has already allowed us to know
2. There are things that we do not know
3. There are things we are allowed to have, but there are those who prevent us from having them

If God reveals something to you, it means it is the beginning of you being aware of what you did not know. When you read 1Corinthians 2: 9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

There are things that God has revealed to only those who love Him. But you can't get them until He gives them to you.The healing that takes place here in Church is because God has prepared goodness for those who love Him.

1 Corinthians 2: 12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

The spirit of the world gives you an understanding of the world. It enables you to know the things of the world i.e.to do business, politics and you become successful only here on earth. The Spirit of God gives you the Knowledge of God.

Matthew 16: 18 “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

He did not say gate but He said gates. It means there are many gates which prevails you not to go in. Why did it say that? In the book of John 10:9 “I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” Yes you are served now what matters here is how you go in and out. If you go in, can you manage to come out? because if you manage to go in and go out, you have the pastures. It means that those who can enter and come out have nothing to cry i.e they are rejoicing in the Lord because God has blessed them.

3 John 1: 1-2 “The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

It means many Christians are so prosperous and have a lot of gifts inside, but financially they are broke, the relationship with other people is worse and their marriages are destroyed. But here the thoughts of God for us He said “I want you to prosper” It means the way you prosper in spirit is the way He wants you to prosper in physical; financially, health wise and every corner of your life. God wants us to understand He cares for us and want us to prosper.

Romans 8: 28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

God does things with His loving people and not everybody. Yes you do work for God but not in love. For example; you are a pastor, but when it comes to work you complain. This means you don’t love the work. God works with those in love not with everybody. How do you know that you don't work for God in love? When you don’t see the fruits because If you work with love you will see people congratulate you, give you gifts, others will pray and fast for you and some will come to your house to pray. God works with those who loves Him so as to give them His goodness. Do God’s work with a joyful heart, rejoice and love it.

John 10: 9 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

Jesus said “they shall” and not "they will”. The word shall mean this is mandatory and the word will means maybe. Anybody who enters and comes out in him shall prosper. So they get their pastures, i.e. they lack nothing.

John 5: 15 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

It means there are people who are born again but they are not living in him. There are people who are created by God and are born again but they don’t live in God. Those who live in God shall prosper, hence no scarcity.

In this planet God decided to give two ways; the good and the bad. The way for good is for Jesus Christ and for the goodness of God. The way for the bad is for the devil and his demonism. So if you are in a good way you shall not meet demons. Why born again Christians are living in Christ, speaking in tongues but they are owned by demons? Because they don’t follow the will of God. They don’t listen what Christ says to them. So demons are there to attack them; today I urge you;

1. Stop doing things which devil likes
2. Stop doing things which the world likes
3. Stop doing things to please your heart.
