REDEMPTION OF THE FIRST FRUIT

Exodus 22: 29 “Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.”

Your first matrix must be redeemed. When you delay there is punishment over that. You will see your family go astray or sometimes go through pain day by day. So you have to understand why the first born has to be handed over to the Lord without any delay.

Numbers 18: 11 “And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.”

The first fruit is not for the things of the people but for the Lord and his servants. When you give out the first fruit it will help you to keep blessings in your house.

Benefits of giving your First child to the Lord:

Psalms 105: 42- 45

1. God of heaven will never forget your first fruit because they are always in the remembrance in the eyes of God. When you give the first fruit you are redeeming yourself and the whole family. From that day your family is remembered in the sight of God, everyday.

2. The joy of the Lord liveth in you. Why joy? Joy makes a person do great things. You cannot see a person who has joy doing small things/ normal things. People who carry the joy of the Lord do wonders and they become very attractive.

3. God gives them heritance in the foreign land, and inherits the labor of other people. When you offer the first not only He will give you inheritance in foreign land but He will give you to inherit the labor of other people. Ecclesiastes 2: 26 “For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.”

4. After redemption they are the keepers of the law of God, his holiness and all the holy things. You become the keeper of the things of God. This means you are the representative of God.

5. His or her generation will always do great exploits. Daniel 11: 32 “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

6. Whatsoever they do they shall prosper. So your generation will never be smaller.
