THE CROSS- PART II

 

Daniel 10: 11 “And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling.”

Daniel 7: 1 “In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel ^[a]had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling ^[b]the main facts.”

Daniel begins to be loved when he considered the dream. Many people don’t consider when God speaks to them in dreams but God speaks every time even when people don’t understand. This is because God is a God of all who have flesh.

1 Samuel 24:  13 “As the proverb of the ancients says, ‘Wickedness proceeds from the wicked.’ But my hand shall not be against you.”   

Jeremiah 2: 21 “Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a seed of highest quality. How then have you turned before Me Into the degenerate plant of an alien vine? ”

Ecclesiastes 7: 29 “Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes.”

Even when someone has wronged you, may God help you not to revenge because God has made us perfect but it is in the lack of consideration that we destroy ourselves.  If we learn to consider our faith in the cross we shall do wonders and all that went wrong and get lost will come back to you and you will begin to see your journey.  If you consider, anything you pray will go even by not been prayed to by a powerful pastor. God will start answering your prayers when you start to consider and not when you are prayed to by a powerful pastor.  Don’t rejoice to be prayed for diseases but rejoice to be prayed to receive salvation because salvation is the power of God which chases away diseases.

Allow the word of God to dwell in you because the word of God is powerful and will chase away all powers of darkness and you will no longer struggle in life. The day you will understand the power of the Word, the power of the cross, the power of faith and the power of character you will become victorious.

Character goes with the spirit of men which can draw the power of God or the power of evil. Character can be seen in three areas

• How you speak
• How you think
• How you act

It is in doing the above that you will attract who to move with you, God with His Angels or devil with his demons.  Which character do you walk with, if you do well you will get favour but if you don’t, sin is there.

How will we know that sin has overcome you?

Deuteronomy 28: 15- 29 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: ¹⁶ “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.........”

How will we know that you did well?

Deuteronomy 28: 3- 13 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. ⁴ “Blessed shall be the ^[a]fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. ⁵ “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl......”

When God favors you He blesses you. Food will never be a problem to you and your enemy will be destroyed, and the first enemy is sin and then poverty. When these two are destroyed you will worship well and your faith will be strong.  

The first problem which torments people is character which allows sin to attack them. Sin is not powerful but your character allows it to attack you. If your character is good, sin will never get a chance to attack you. The character has made people to be far from God.  If you do well God will cleanse you and make you holly and once you are cleansed nothing is powerful over you because you resemble God.
