OUR LIFE IN SALVATION AND THE WORD OF CROSS- PART I

1 Corinthians 1: 18 “For the ^[a]message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

Here on earth there are many foundations to make things reign, arise and much more, but for salvation, redemption, eternal life, miracles and wonders, healing and blessings to the mankind, word of the cross is the foundation. Without word of the cross, miracles and wonders are in vain.  You cannot have a permanent miracle, permanent blessing without the word of cross. Therefore the foundation of our faith lay on the word of cross.

The word of God manifest itself by the word of cross and it started in times of Moses when they were travelling from Egypt to Canaan, when snakes where sent to bite and kill them. Nobody could stand the bite of the snakes and God told Moses to put a cross and let people come and look at that cross, when they look at it they will be healed and saved, so people ran to the cross and they were healed and delivered from the poison of the snake. The word of cross can destroy any kind of poison. Those who were not looking at the bite and look at the cross when they were bitten by the snake they were healed and those who did not died.

When they were running to the cross, power of the cross was doing something in them, so it depend with your mind what do you understand about the cross? What you understand and perceive about the cross is what will come to you and not just how you speak. Many died during the time of Moses and few ran to the cross. That cross was a symbol of the cross of Jesus.  

Power of the cross is more important than any kind of prayer because any prayer cannot be heard without the word of cross. The word of cross did the following:

• The word of cross brought us closer to God and made us to be heard and be accepted
• The word of cross made us to be favored and precious before the eyes of God, without the word of cross we are nothing before God
• The word of cross made us the partakers of the things of God
• The word of cross made us the peculiar people, very meaningful
• The word of cross changed our perceptions and our thoughts and we became wise. Only the word of cross can make you wise
• The word of cross made reconciliation between you and God, and between you and other people and because of that you can say I love God and God loves you
• The word of cross made your sin forgiven and now you are under the mercies of God
• The word of cross made you the partaker of the grace of God no matter how stupid you are
• Through the word of cross your judgement is taken out and you are free from judgement, no one has power to judge you
• The word of cross has taken you from behind to front and no more failure because there is victory at the cross
• The word of cross took you from curse to blessings
• The word of cross took you from enmity with God to the sonship . If you know your position because of the cross, you can change everything and be what you want to be
• The word of cross took you from dearth to life

There is no change in your life without the word of cross. Go before the cross and accept to bind yourself on it.
