IDENTIFICATION IS TO UNDERSTAND WHO YOU ARE
The way you know who you are, is
how perfection starts. You cannot conquer your world if you don’t know the
capacity or your ability. You ability, capacity and strength lies in your
understanding. Your understanding gives you the victory. How you understand when
the teacher teaches, is how you will score when the test comes, it is how you
know and not how you attended the class. Those who hear attentively will alert their
understanding. The way your ear perceives is how your understanding will be, so
the way we understand who we are in Christ Jesus is how we are going to win the
battle against the devil and not how we pray or fast. The way you understand and
go father fasting and praying you deliver yourself.
Isaiah 40: 1- 4 “Comfort,
yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. 2 “Speak [a]comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That
her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from
the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.” 3 The
voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make
straight [b]in the desert A highway for our God. 4 Every
valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked
places shall be made [c]straight And the rough places smooth;”
The bible says tell them so that
they can act according to what they have heard.
Isaiah 42: 1- 6 “Behold! My
Servant whom I uphold, My [a]Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon
Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He
will not cry out, nor raise His
voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A
bruised reed He will not break, And [b]smoking flax He will not [c]quench; He will bring forth justice for
truth. 4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He
has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His
law.” 5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the
heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes
from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on
it: 6 “I, the Lord, have called You in
righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a
covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,”
You are the light of the world
and nations because the Lord says He will hold your hand. The way you hear
helps you to gain understanding. Your understanding will give you freedom. What
do you understand? God will never give you anything according to His promise
until you have understood. When people wants to get married, parents will ask them
questions in order to understand if they can receive the dowry, the moment the
bride says yes she becomes someone’s wife. Even God cannot release His promise
to you until He gets your understanding. Many people end up in divorce because
they never understood the question they were asked before marriage and that is
why they never receive God’s blessings. The way you understand is how you
receive. The capacity of understanding makes you glorify God because you will understand
that the way you are is for God’s glory.
One day Solomon after building the
temple He showed God that he understand who he is and who God is by slaughtering
before God and God was moved by Solomon’s offering and after that God visited
him and asked him what does he want? That deed showed how Solomon was able to
understand. The way you do will tell God what capacity of understanding you
have. Whatsoever you do here on earth God understand how stupid you are, how
clever you are, how wise you are and how ignorant you are. God could never rest
when Solomon gave the offering and He asked him what he wants. The way you do
will make God not to rest over you, asking you what you want.
Even devil knows the capacity of
your understanding, money knows the capacity of your understanding because money
cannot go where is not known because if you go to a place you are not known you
will be treated as a stranger and some places treat strangers poorly. There are
people who will never have money because they don’t understand what money is. Money
has its own characters and it needs to know from you if you understand it,
secondly it wants to know if you know its value and what it can do. One thing money
needs from you is peace that is why Jesus said he who has shall be given more.
Riches cannot stay with the stupid people because it can kill them. What is your
understanding?
If you understand yourself it is
easy to finish quarrels in marriage because you will know that God brought that
person to you so that you can help his or her weaknesses. Those who don’t know themselves
always complain about their partner’s weaknesses instead of talking about
theirs and ask their partners to help them.
God wants to release His promises
to us but we should answer the following questions
- Am I ready now to receive, am I capable?
- That promise is for what and how will it help me?
- If I fail after receiving the promise, what will happen? Saul received his promise but he failed and therefore he died like a dog.
- Am I at the right place to receive and keep the promise?
The promise of God is real, but
why are you not receiving it? It is because you don’t have that capacity of
understanding. The day you gain understanding you will receive all the blessing
that you understand.
Who are we?
Colossians 1: 13- 14 “He has
delivered us from the power of darkness and [a]conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in
whom we have redemption [b]through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
Here we learn that we have
already been saved from the power of darkness, but it is upon our understanding
to rejoice over what God has done or keep on suffering because God has already
finished it. All of us who are born again, have our inheritance with Jesus because
He delivered us, which mean He transferred us to His kingdom. Are you now
enjoying your salvation? God cannot trust you with His wealth if you don’t understand
because devil will come and take it and God is so jealous that He cannot let
His wealth be taken by devil.
God will start looking at how you
keep and respect what you have, including you family and if He sees you taking
care of what you have He will be ready to give you His. When David was given his
father’s sheep to keep, and the lion and bear came to eat them, David never run
away and was never ready to lose the sheep. When God saw that understanding from
David, He knew that He has got someone from the house of Jesse and He decide to
make him the King.
You don’t need Jesus to get out from
the power of darkness but to understand that what you have heard and read is
true and the next step you do is to declare what God has done. God cannot fight
for you if you are week. The bible says since the day of John the baptist, the
kingdom of God is taken by violent.
Make sure you understand what God
has done through the bible. God has paid the price so you don’t need to go
through pain because of the life you are in. Don’t allow your mind to abandon
what you believe. The way you persist is how you make the devil run away and
leave you alone so that you can enjoy the next moment. Hold on and pursue
dearly with prayer and fasting until it happens. The way you trust God He will
give you what He promised and not only that, but even ore with ore years so
that you can enjoy what God has given you.
Every time remind God about His promise and take something as a gift to God so that God can see that you mean it.
