COUNSEL FOR THE JOURNEY

Genesis 3: 1 “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

Everyone born of a woman has a battle between him and the evil one, but there is a promise of God which says you will bruise his head and he will bruise your heel. This means that devil can delay your journey and even cause your journey to fail but the bible says you will bruise his head meaning the thoughts of devil has no power over you and you can finish the thoughts of the enemy if you decide.

Genesis 4: 7 “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is [d]for you, but you should rule over it.”

There is also a promise here that you have a favor to win even though sin is there and it desires you. Doing well means doing faithfully, with obedience and by offering yourself.

Philippians 4: 8 “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

Make sure in your life you walk in truth and stay away from any kind of lies. Do not be noisy and make sure you bear with one another. Do not favor anyone or oppress and hurt anyone but do everything in righteousness and by doing so you set your way to receive favor from God. Make sure you have a pure heart by doing things which people will congratulate you and heaven will be pleased with what you have done. Always meditate them.

Genesis 17: 1 “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am [a]Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.”

We are before God and we have been directed to be perfect and blameless. This does not mean that you don’t need Gods help, but it talks about character, your character must be blameless. If you follow the instruction from the bible there is no reason for poverty.

Proverbs 8: 17- 21 “I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. 18 Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. 20 [d]traverse the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice, 21 That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.”

Whatever you are looking for in this world, God has it. Remember what happened to king Nebuchadnezzar because of his pride. Everyone who has anything in this world it is from God and no one can take anything away unless permitted by God. God has prepared a way of righteousness.

Isaiah 35: 8 “A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.”

You manifest who you are by the character of doing well, according to Philippians 4: 8. It is the character of approaching your future, your success, your victory, your honor, your eternity, your blessing, where your power is, you prosperity, your riches, a place where you shall eat and have surplus, that character is called the character of walking ahead of Him. This is what is called the path of righteousness and judgement.

Where have you voted? When you vote to God you will receive a good heritage. God will judge you a good heritage because He says there is no judgement to those who are in Christ Jesus. When you decide to go through the righteous way you will encounter pain, but don’t look at them, just go before God and be perfect and He will reward you with wealth and riches.

Genesis 17: 15- 17 “Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but [g]Sarah shall be her name. 16 And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her. 17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?

Poverty is a sign that God is far from you and you don’t do as He instruct you to do.
