FORGIVENESS – PART II

The Lord’s prayer says “Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be your name, may your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Give us our daily bread, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass us, lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil” If you cannot forgive you will not be able to pray this prayer.

When you pray this prayer and say “as we forgive those who trespass us” while you are holding your wife, husband or your colleague, you are wrong. You are not supposed to pray this prayer if you have not forgive so that you don’t add another wrong before God. Because when you say forgive us as we forgive others, devil goes before God immediately to accuse you that you have prayed but in your heart you are holding three people.

When God look at you He see that is true and He takes away His protection from you and then you will start seeing bad things coming to you and you don’t see any help from Him.  That is why the Bible says “when times are bad, think” therefore it is good to think and ask God and He will give you answers and you will make it right with Him.

There are people who are going through pain and their hearts are pouring blood because there is a person who promised to marry them but leave them and marry another person. If you have caused this kind of pain to someone go and ask for forgiveness and tell that person that it is true you wronged him/her and caused heartbreak to him/her and you are sorry. When you ask for forgiveness you will be safe.

Swahili Translation:

Sala ya Bwana inasema “Baba yetu uliye Mbinguni, jina lako litukuzwe, ufalme wako uje hapa duniani kama huko mbinguni, Utupe leo riziki zetu utusamehe makosa yetu kama nasi tunavyo wasamehe wanao tukosea na usitutie majaribuni lakini utuokoe na yule mwovu“ kama hauwezi kusamehe kamwe hautaweza kusali sala hii.

Unaposali sala hii na kusema “kama sisi tunavyo wasamehe wanao tukosea” wakati wewe umemshikilia mkeo, mumeo au mshirika mwenzio n.k sio sahihi. Unatakiwa usiombe sala hii kama hujasamehe ili usiongeze kosa lingine mbele za Mungu; Kwa maana utakapo sema utusamehe makosa yetu kama nasi tunavyo wasamehe wanaotukosea, muda huo huo shetani anaenda kwa Mungu kukushitaki na kumwambia Mungu umemuona fulani kaomba hili lakini moyoni mwake amewashikilia watu watatu.

Mungu akiangalia anaona ni kweli hivyo anaondoa ulinzi wake kwako ndipo unaona mabaya yakikujia na huoni msaada wowote kutoka kwake. Ndio maana Biblia ikasema “upatwapo na mabaya fikiri” hivyo ni vyema kutafakari na kumuuliza Mungu utapata majibu nawe utapata kutengeneza na Mungu.

Kuna watu wanapitia maumivu na mioyo yao inavuja damu kwa sababu kuna mtu alimuahidi atamuoa na baadae akamuacha na kuoa mtu mwingine, kama wewe umemsababishia mtu maumivu ya namna hii nenda kamuonbe msamaha, umwambie kweli nilikukosea na kukusababishia majeraha ya moyo naomba unisamehe. Ukishaomba msamaha unakuwa salama.
