EXPECT TO RECEIVE GIFT

The word says, God gives rewards to His chosen one. Reward means gift. For you to come out of poverty you need gift that is why when God was taking the Israelites out of Egypt He made them to receive gifts because they were poor.

Job 42:10-12 “And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. ¹¹ Then there came to him all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before, and they ate bread with him in his house; they showed him sympathy and comforted him for all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him; and each of them gave him a piece of money^[a] and a gold ring. ¹² The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; and he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand donkeys.”

When Job became sick and bankruptcy for a long time, he had to receive gifts for him to become healthy. So when someone receive gift he/she may become alive again. I remember when Jacob was told that the gifts are from your son Joseph, his dying spirit revived.

Genesis 45:25- 28 “So they went up out of Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan. ²⁶ And they told him, “Joseph is still alive! He is even ruler over all the land of Egypt.” He was stunned; he could not believe them. ²⁷ But when they told him all the words of Joseph that he had said to them, and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of their father Jacob revived. ²⁸ Israel said, “Enough! My son Joseph is still alive. I must go and see him before I die.”

Faith is what opens up a door for gifts. It was gifts that supported the Ministry when I started. The word says without faith you cannot please God and so you cannot receive gifts. Your expectation is what causes you to receive gifts. What are you expecting? This means God give gifts to those who seek Him. If you can do that you will see how God does His work. If a person believes in failure, then failure will come to him/ her quickly. In Christ we remain in victory, but outside Him we remain in failure.

Your expectations cannot harm you because it is your faith and your faith gives you gift which is your success. These gifts are brought to you and you don’t go to them. The function of gift is to solve a problem which is before you and make you happy. Even our salvation, the Holy Spirit, marriage and children are gifts (grace) from God.

It is good to ask for the possible expectations. When you pray look at what God has promised to those who loves Him. You cannot ask to become white while you are black. Ask God to create in you a true and real faith.

Hebrews 11:1, 6 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  ⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

Swahili Translation:

TARAJIA KUPOKEA ZAWADI

Neno linasema Mungu huwapa wateule wake thawabu. Thawabu maana yake ni zawadi. Ili utoke kwenye ufukara unahitaji zawadi, ndio maana Mungu alipowatoa wana wa Israel Misri, walikuwa fukara, akafanya wapewe zawadi.

Ayubu 42: 10 - 12 " Kisha Bwana akaugeuza uteka wa Ayubu, hapo alipowaombea rafiki zake; Bwana naye akampa Ayubu mara mbili kuliko hayo aliyokuwa nayo kwanza. Ndipo wakamwendea nduguze wote, waume kwa wake, nao wote waliojuana naye hapo zamani, wakala chakula pamoja naye katika nyumba yake nao wakamlilia na kumtuliza moyo katika habari za huo uovu wote Bwana aliouleta juu yake; kila mtu akampa fedha, na pete ya dhahabu kila mmoja. Basi hivyo Bwana akaubariki huo mwisho wa Ayubu kuliko mwanzo wake........."

Ayubu alipofilisika na kuugua sana kwa muda mrefu, ili apate afya njema alipewa zawadi; kumbe mtu akipewa zawadi anaweza akafufuka. Nakumbuka Yakobo alipotaka kufa, alipoambiwa kuwa hizi zawadi zimetoka kwa mwanao Yusufu, alifufuka.

Mwanzo 45: 25 - 28 " Wakatoka Misri, wakafika nchi ya Kanaani kwa Yakobo, baba yao. Wakampasha habari, wakisema Yusufu angali hai; naye ndiye mtawala katika nchi yote ya Misri......."

Imani ndiyo inayofungulia zawadi, nilipoanza Huduma, zawadi ndizo zilizotegemeza kazi. Neno linasema pasipo imani haiwezekani kumpendeza Mungu kwa hiyo huwezi kupata zawadi. Matarajio ndio yanayosababisha kupokea zawadi. Je, unatarajia nini? Maana yake Mungu huwapa zawadi wale wamtafutao, ukiweza kufanya hayo utaona jinsi Mungu anavyotenda kazi yake. Mtu akiamini kushindwa ndani yake, kushindwa kunamjia kwa upesi. Ndani yake Kristo tunadumu katika kushinda, lakini nje yake tunadumu katika kushindwa.

Matarajio yako hayawezi kukuumiza kwa sababu ndio imani yako na imani yako inakupa zawadi ambayo ni mafanikio yako. Zawadi hizi unaletewa, sio unazifuata. Kazi ya zawadi ni kutatua tatizo lililoko mbele yako na kukufurahisha. Maana hata wokovu wetu, Roho Mtakatifu, ndoa na watoto tulionao ni zawadi ( neema) toka kwa Mungu.

Ni vizuri kuomba matarajio yanayowezekana. Unapoomba, angalia yale ambayo Mungu ameahidi kuwapa wale wampendao. Mfano, huwezi kuomba uwe mzungu wakati wewe ni mweusi. Muombe Mungu akuumbie imani iliyokweli na halisi.

Waebrania 11: 1, 6 " Basi imani ni kuwa na hakika ya mambo yatarajiwayo, ni bayana ya mambo yasiyoonekana. (6) Lakini pasipo imani haiwezekani kumpendeza Mungu; kwa maana mtu amwendeaye Mungu; lazima aamini kwamba yeye yuko, na kwamba huwapa thawabu wale wamtafutao."
