2020 IS THE YEAR OF IDENTIFICATION

Psalms 118:1-7 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever....... When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place. ⁶ The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? ⁷ The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies.”

They have searched for you in all ways but you are still alive because your Redeemer is alive!

This year is your year of identification. Everyone should know that he/she is from God regardless of where you are coming from. You are here on earth for God’s kingdom.

Anyone who is recognized in the world today, has started somewhere, and aimed to get higher. For spiritual people to be recognized there must be things to be done.

Who is identified?

The identified person is only who is born again and does the will of God. Everyone in church will be identified by God according to what God has installed in him/her which is different from other people. You must have plans and strategies for you to be identified.

When the church is identified, it should be very keen on that identification. This is because when you are identified, your work will be more. God wants to identify the church in the world because he wants that church to be ready to destroy the works of devil. When you are identified you are going to be seen clearly by everyone and God will make sure you are openly seen for you to exercise what He has installed in you. Be carefully not to hide what God has given you because this year God has allowed you to be identified, therefore He will do whatever He wants to expose you for you to destroy the works of devil. Saul on his way to destroy the church of Christ in Damascus, Jesus showed Himself before Him and Saul became blind until when he did what Jesus told him to do. This is because God installed something in Saul for him to preach the world of God, that was Saul’s identification..a servant of God and not a killer.

It is because of God’s love that He wants you to be identified.

Mathew 3:17 “And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

The Bible says a voice from heaven identified Jesus in the whole world, that He is his loving son, whom is pleased with. With this identification Jesus was prepared to be tested. It is immediately after this identification, Jesus was tested by devil on the mountain. You must be ready and prepared for  the test for your identification to continue.

When God is identifying you, you will feel like you are being rejected, but that is God’s plan because He wants to be with you. Be happy and rejoice in what God wants you to do even if there is no profit in it and you have been rejected. God will see your diligence and He will show you what He has prepared for you. This is both in spiritual and physical things we do.

In the Bible, Joseph's secret was faithfulness on what he was been given to do. That helped him to be identified, causing his brothers to reject him and sell him into slavery but he never quit his faithfulness even in slavery and in the end God honoured him before the king. Stand still and follow God’s righteousness because that is your identification.

A person who carries God’s identification is always very humble like Joseph, not taking glory by himself but always returning it to God. Remember God do not share His glory with anyone. When you humble yourself, all lies and attacks on you from devil will go away. Always be thankful to God when He identifies you.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? ¹⁰ “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

It is only God who knows our hearts and therefore He is the only one to identify you. When God identifies you, it means his heart desires you.

Characters of the identified person

• A holy person. Jesus was identified as a beloved son because he was holy

Galatians 5:19-21 “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; ²⁰ idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions ²¹ and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

God will only identify people who are holy, unless that person has a very special call, like Saul.

•  A person with faith. People with faith attract others not to lose hope. Therefore God normally identify these people because they will help many
• A person with love. These have love for others and God will identify them for they will show God’s love to many
• A person with hope. This is because a person with hopes on God has no doubt and he/she is sure that God will do it. People with this character are easily identified because God will be glorified through them
• A person who prays for sick people. If you feel like praying to a sick person, go and do that, because it is not you who do the healing but God who is a healer. What you need is just your love for that person to be healed

Pray to God.. “God please show me what you have installed in me and why you brought me in this world because I want to be identified by You.”
