THE WORD OF TESTIMONY

To receive what God has promised us we must partake testimonies together with others. It is the word that will make you become a person of testimony for it is in the word where we receive His promises

Why testimony?

Revelation 12:11 “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

For you to partake testimony together with other saints, you must have the word, together with your own testimony or another person’s testimony and be ready to die for what you have heard. Once you have a testimony you allow gifts from heaven and from people.

Testimony is a faithful witness of God’s integrity, it is the assurance of God’s word and His unchanging council. It is God’s finger in work. It is something which makes your faith and vision to grow. It is a vessel to empower you.

In spiritual life, if you will not keep in consideration all the goodness God has done in your life, you will never be victorious. It is your past testimonies that attract more testimonies to you. Always remember and thank God for any testimony God has done to you from when you were in your mother’s womb.

When you have a testimony, you will never have sorrowful tears, but you will have joyful tears for you will always remember the great things that God has done in your life.

Benefits of a testimony

• It enlarges your vision because it helps you to overcome obstacles. When you testify and allow God to be glorified by the word of your testimony, you make heaven do more. Do not carry devil’s testimony by speaking negativity in your life
• It makes you ready for the victory when you have challenges from inside. It energises an inside person to fight until you win
• It adds more testimonies, from one to another. This is because a testimony carries the name of Jesus and if you speak the name of Jesus in glory, He will roll away any shame in you and more testimonies will come for He don’t want His name to be put on shame
• It is a weapon of victory in your hand because it has a foundation of the word of God
• It has a power of God to reborn itself. If faith is being enlarged by testimony, therefore testimony  is very important for your vision
•  It helps you to move forward, regardless of the situation
• It shows you which steps to take to reach your vision
• It refreshes you soul

One person’s testimony has power to save others for it becomes a reference to others. David encountered Goliath, refereeing to his previous testimonies.

1 Samuel 17:37-51 “The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you......”

If you are not a person of testimonies, you will end up being a loser and struggle with so many challenges. Be ready to face your tomorrow through you own testimony, or any testimony that you have read or hear from other saints. By doing this you will give life to your vision and expectations.
