THE INGREDIENT TO SUCCESS AS A CHILD OF GOD

Genesis 1:1-2 ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ² Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.’

John 14:14-18 ‘You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. “If you love me, keep my commands.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever^,; The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.’

The success of every Christian lies on his relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Most Christians do not give time to the ministry of Holy Spirit in their lives, and do not know how he speaks. Prayers, faith, giving must be born from the Holy Spirit. Our systems should not take first preference than the Holy Spirit.

Many problems in life is because of not listening to the Holy Spirit for He is our guide. If you are a part of Jesus you must know his voice and recognize His voice for “His sheep knows His voice.”

You will be able to recognize His voice even in the midst of many voices if you have developed a character of spending enough time with Him and get experienced with his voice. You need to do this patiently.

When you pray or enter the presence of God need-driven, you will be more concerned about presenting your needs instead of building your relationship with Him. If you have a relationship with Him you will not pray for your need, for He will know them before you pray and He will give them to you. Don’t let the flesh, mind, internet, television, news paper and Holy Spirit speak at the same time because you will not be able to differentiate the voices as you lack ‘experience’ with the Holy.

The Holy Spirit does not want to be involved in only some things for the bible says He will teach us all things, both spiritual and non spiritual things. You can even ask the Hold Spirit where to shop, what to eat, who to be close to etc. The Holy Spirit wants to speak and guide you wherever you are and at whatever you do. He is not only for emergency.

With Him he will teach you not to compromise your relationship with Him, so He will not let you just do everything you want and you will be conscious with the presence of the Lord. Without the Holy Spirit you just live as an orphan.

Do not let your experience, familiarity and education over-power the instruction of the Holy Spirit. Develop a life where the Holy Spirit will be inside you and not around and on top of you for you will be empty without Him inside you.

The Holy Spirit is the secret of the church

• He is the one who teaches what prayer to pray for not every prayer is necessary
• He gives you boldness instead of fear and confusion (for you know who  you are in Christ)
• He guides you how to deal with issues in your life
•  He gives answers to your questions

Keep your heart clean for He speaks in your heart. Your heart is the ear of the Holy Spirit. You can take risk with your body but not your heart, so protect it.

The Lord wants people who are thirst of the Holy Spirit to let the rivers of Holy Spirit (living water) flow from the inside to benefit many people.  With this flow, He builds the fruit of the spirit and changes your character and calls you to His gifts and purposes your life.

We must behave like a deer who longs for waters (the Holy Spirit) in order to be safe from the lions (evils) of the world. It is in the presence of the Holy Spirit that we can hide our life. Let the Holy Spirit over-shadow your life.

Don’t let the worshipers, who don’t know about the presence of God, usher you during the worship service for it is during the worship that you know how to enter in to the presence of the Lord where His spirit is.
