ANOINTING AND PRESENCE- PART II

2 Corinthians 4:10- 15 ‘We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.....’

A person who is born again carries the death of Christ, manifesting the eternal life of Jesus. This is guaranteed and not a matter of faith. The more you are close to God the more your body keep burning, because of the glory before you making it not easy to stand before His presence. This happens because He wants you to give to others what He has given you.

When Moses was on the mountain for 40 days, it was the presence of God that sustains him for that long without food or water. In God’s presence, the human body is replaced with a heavenly body and you start seeing things in the spirit.There are people invited by God in His council, living on earth. They are called the citizens of heaven.

1 Corinthians 15: 40- 45 ‘There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another....’

The more you please God the more His presence is with you and the more the spirit that resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead is in you, uprooting the character of sin in you and create divine character in you. You are transferred from the sinful body to the body of glory.

Romans 8:11 ‘ And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you’

The power of God only chase away devil but it does not take away the sinful body, for that body was not brought by the act of Adam, therefore it need to be uprooted and a new act to be revived. 

John 17:24 ‘Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.'

Ephesians 4:13-14 ‘until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. ¹⁴ Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.’

God wants us to understand Jesus, which is more than having faith in Him. You will understand Him when you are in the presence of God and desire to understand His act on the cross. 

You will not be able to know your future if you are not in His presence, because it is Him alone who knows your future completely.

In the presence of God, you have God’s security against evil. The devil is not afraid of you but what is with you.
