DAY 24 OF THE PRAYER & FASTING SERVICE EFATHA MINISTRY MWENGE, DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA:
The problem that most
saints have is that they do things as usual. The reason to why God wants us to
gather is that we may have awareness about the FUTURE; it’s not just about
coming to church with no reason.
The reason as to why God gathers us is that we may be able to know how to reach our Future in a victorious way.
- When the righteous meet, the head of that meeting is God; and HE is the one who enables HIS children recognize how to reach their future.
Psalms 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
Don’t go to church to ask God for food, but go to church because;
- In HIS presence there is fulness of JOY and at HIS right hand there are pleasures; so whatever problem that you have will perish once your reach before HIS presence.
So when you come to church; God does not deal with your surroundings, but HE deals with you. Because by the way you are, you face failure, you don’t become prosperous, you can’t be married and so more, because of how you are inside and because you don’t have HIS peace within you.
You don’t need to pray and fast so as to get money, you need HIS PEACE so as to get Money and Prosperity.
Once you have PEACE, blessings will follow you. It’s not you who follows the blessings but the blessings will follow you.
Psalms 27:4 “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.”
God cannot fail to do what you desire from HIM.
When you go before the Lord, desire to know the way of life.
- Tell HIM to teach you the way of life.
- Tell HIM to give you His peace.
- Tell HIM to enable you to see His goodness.
Don’t come before the Lord with your AGENDA but come to get HIS AGENDA. Don’t come with your expectations but come to get HIS EXPECTATIONS about you.
When you come before the Lord, don’t come with your desires; come to know GOD's desires.
- When you are contrary to the thoughts of God, you will face pain.
CHANGE THE WAY YOU TAKE YOUR PRAYERS BEFORE GOD.
There is a secret when you reach a point of telling God, “Let your WILL be manifested.”
When you learn how to draw close to God, whatever you face will no longer face or challenge.
God is not far, but HE is very near and closer to you; but HE cannot give you anything until you get UNDERSTANDING about them so that when HE gives you, you may not through them away.
- God cannot give you HIS goodness if you don’t have understanding about them.
